At the beginning of the year the Drostdy Academic Reps started with library tours and information literacy workshops, which were arranged for first year students during the first week of term, and these proved to be useful for the first years. During the year the Hall and the Residences had mentorship systems in place, and during the exam terms residence common rooms were converted into study venues. Posters of students who were willing to give academic support were placed in the dining hall, with the specific subjects they were willing to help with. In the fourth term there was a Drostdy Hall Academic Tea event called “Save the Semester” to help Drostdy students with exam and study tips, which was organised by the Hall Academic Rep and Hall Activism Rep.
