AG Sunday Hike
An excellent remedy for clearing the mind and getting ready for a new week is good ol’ fresh air- it’s efficient and student-budget friendly (i.e. it’s free). A few of the Allan Gray ladies got together on a Sunday afternoon to stretch their legs and set off on a makeshift adventure. We explored the Botanical Gardens (and discovered its beautiful flora and interesting fauna) before heading back to our books. All in all, our impromptu hike made for a fun-filled afternoon that would make even the most experienced adventurer envious.

Arts and Crafts
Art therapy is often used as a therapeutic technique to deal with stress. After one especially strenuous week, and following the annual Silent Protest, Allan Gray held its own Arts and Crafts session in the common room to provide its residents with the opportunity to release their creative juices as well as any stress. We enjoyed an afternoon of Ballroom/Latin dancing lessons, a knitting corner as well as general arts and crafts (supplied by the generous Sian Ferguson).
