Tracy Kitchen holds a PhD in Linguistics and Applied Language Studies, with research interests primarily in discourse analysis and its intersection with education. Drawing on her experience as a former Augmenting Lecturer, Tracy now works in Student Academic Development at CHERTL, coordinating projects such as the Augmenting Programme and the Academic Literacies Toolkit. She is also actively involved in tutoring and mentoring development and is a core member of the Siyaphumelela Team at Rhodes University. Tracy is dedicated to student development and committed to ensuring equitable access to the academic, disciplinary, and literacy knowledge necessary for university success.
