Enahoro holds an Honours degree in Zoology from the University of Agriculture, Umudike, Nigeria, with research focused on identifying and assessing the damages caused by insect pests to a popular Nigerian potherb - Telfairia occidentalis at different stages of growth. He also holds a Master of Science degree in Environmental toxicology and pollution management from the University of Lagos. His Master's research was focused on evaluating and comparing the insecticidal activities of organic and inorganic chemical compounds against Sitophilus oryzae (L.) in stored rice.

He is currently a doctoral student at the Institute for Water Research, Rhodes University, South Africa. His current research investigates microplastics' distribution and effects on riverine macroinvertebrates using a mechanistic and trait-based approach.
