Dr Sharli Paphitis is a research associate at Rhodes University and a researcher in the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience at King’s College London. She has led NRF and MRC funded community-based interventions tackling issues of epistemic injustice in community health, water management, land redistribution, and recovery from gender-based violence across Southern Africa, Asia and Europe using a variety of qualitative, visual and participatory methods.
